The Stevens Family has a proud history of meeting at annual reunions since 1891.

The first reunion began when the children of Hanson and Lavina Stevens decided to gather their families for a birthday celebration for the oldest sibling, Issac Stevens. They so enjoyed their gathering that they decided to make it an annual occurrence. Attendance and minutes were documented in a thick leather-bound book. A new book was purchased for the 100th reunion celebration. The original minutes book, now a prized, historical artifact, is stored for safekeeping. A copy of the first minutes book is brought to reunions for family members to view and is available for snippets of historical information to share at reunion.
Family members decided to hold reunions on the third Sunday every year to make it easier for family to set aside that day to gather together.
2026 Stevens Family Reunion Information
We will gather at Barton Park in Clackamas County July 19, 2026, picnic area 2, with a potluck beginning at noon and the family meeting follows at 1 pm. Camp site reservations are now open for the park.
